NOTICE:
The Brookneal Christmas parade is tonight at 7 p.m. Be aware that limited traffic is allowed on Old Main Street from about 530 until after the parade clears out around 7:30. Anyone living on Old Main Street will be allowed to pass through at any time; however, no through traffic will be allowed during these times. Main Street from Food Lion to the railroad tracks near Guthrie's Hardware and Wickliffe Avenue from the Railroad tracks to the Brookneal Baptist Church will be closed from 6:30 until after the parade ends around 7:45 to 8:00 p.m. Public parking available for the parade includes the town parking lot behind Staunton Station and the parking lots behind the old Wells Fargo Bank building at 227 Main Street.

The Christmas tree lighting and caroling at the community building will be at 6:00 p.m. There will be hot chocolate available near the gazebo! Come out and enjoy the parade tonight; a magical, musical Christmas!!

The Brookneal Christmas Parade is proud to announce the grand marshals (2) for this year's parade. The town is honoring 2 of its employees for their many years of service to the Town of Brookneal. Lacy Little has been a town employee since 1971 and celebrated his 54th year with the town this year. Larry Broggin has been a town employee since 1978 and celebrated his 47th year with the town this year. We congratulate and thank them for their service!!
