Company 11 was dispatched 3rd due into Charlotte County for a brush fire with a structure fully involved. Units from Charlotte County was dispatched to a brush fire and arrived to find approximately a 20x30 garage fully involved with about 1/2 acre of woods on fire. Units from Charlotte County then called for Company 11 to be added to the call to assist with more manpower and tankers. Co.11 arrived and assisted in overhaul of the structure and provided additional water for fire suppression. Units from Co.11 were on scene approximately 1 hour before returning to service.

Company 11 was dispatched 2nd due into Halifax County with Station 9 and Station 8 for a Brush Fire. A member from Co.11 arrived at the same time as St.9’s brush truck, finding approximately a 10x30 shed fully involved with a small brush fire behind the structure. This information was relayed to other responding units prompting a Structure Fire response from Co.11 and St.8. All units from the three departments on scene worked for approximately 1.5 hours before returning to service.
Units on scene: Engine 11-2, Tanker 11-1, Command 11, Brush 9, Tanker 9, Brush 8, Engine 8, Tanker 8
