Whether measured by circulation, program attendance or door counts, New Utrecht is one of Brooklyn’s busiest branches. Patrons of all ages flock to New Utrecht for its diverse offering of programs, the most popular of which include Summe

r Meals, Kids Create, Speak English with Idioms, Story Play, Teen Writing Workshop, computer courses, ESOL classes, Pre-HSE classes, Citizenship classes and frequent musical performances. The library’s large auditorium and multiple meeting rooms can accommodate a wide range of special programs, many of which are geared toward older adults.

Holds not picked up on the last day the branch was open (October 21) will remain at the branch. We will extend the pickup time after the branch reopens so those holds may be picked up.
