Eastern Parkway Library The Eastern Parkway Library serves the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn. The 12,000 square foot building was renovated in 1951, 1969, 1975 & 2016.

A two-story 5 bay Carnegie library building, Eastern Parkway Branch features a limestone facade with large arched windows and is reached by a flight of steps, a characteristic Carnegie library feature.

Eastern Parkway Library is getting a complete renovation. The library will close end of business on Saturday November 22, 2025.

All holds will be rerouted to nearby branch Crown Heights starting December 1, 2025.

The Bookmobile service will be provided near the library Tuesdays starting November 25, 2025 until December 30, 2025 from 11am-4pm.
