Columbia School District The Columbia School District will provide a safe and positive learning environment.

In the late 1960's the current school district was formed through the consolidation of the Brooklyn, Cement City and Clarklake schools systems. Today the Columbia School District provides educational services for more than 1,500 students and is a Class B school system. The Columbia School District believes that ALL students can learn and achieve mastery of essential skills. The district, to the ex

tent it is financially able to provide physical and human resources required to meet these responsibilities, is dedicated to providing an environment that fosters self-esteem, self-motivation, and responsibility in our students. The district also believes that education is a cooperative effort between home, school and the community.

🍿 Popcorn Fridays are back at Columbia Elementary and Upper Elementary this week! Please check your child’s backpack and return the completed form with $10 per student by September 25. The one-time payment covers popcorn for the entire school year!

✏️ Smencil Days are back for another school year!

The Columbia Elementary PTO will be selling Smencils for $2 each at CES and CUES. These fun scented pencils are made from recycled newspaper, and proceeds help support PTO teacher grants and special events.
