It’s a great day to exercise you’re right as an American Citizen to get out and vote! Love these stickers that were designed by the students in Michigan. Mine apparently was done by a kindergartner. 💜

I was so grateful to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the McDaniel Apartments at Andy’s Place. The work Mike Hirst and Mark McDaniel have done to make such a difference for our community is such a blessing.

The ceremony was so well attended today including Lt. Gov Gilchrist, Sen. Shink, Congressman Walberg, MI Rep. Lightner, MI Rep. Schmaltz, DHHS Director Hertel, and many many other leaders in our community.

Congratulations to Mike, Mark, and their entire team for making this a reality.

It’s unfortunate that we all have to be so aware.

ATTENTION

An unknown person is calling citizens and identifying themselves as an employee from the Sheriff's Office. The caller then goes on to ask for money for a fundraiser for the Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff's Office will never call a citizen and ask for money. This is a scam! Advise them you are calling the police, block the caller and if you have been a victim and sent money / gift cards call 911 to report this fraudulent activity.

While the major campaign might be over, I plan on posting on here to let you guys know what I’m up to for Jackson County.

Twice a year, the Jackson County Victim Rights’ Unit gathers to support the victims of crime in Jackson County.

Today, was the rededication of the Crime Victim Memorial. Thank you to State Representative Kathy Schmaltz for coming to speak.

I had so many victims come up to me and thank us for bringing all of the families together. We as prosecutors can empathize but are not feeling it like they do. But the collection of family members today do all feel the same things.

Thank you to my future and fabulous Victim’s Rights’ Unit for putting on such a moving event.

Attn to those with signs

If you are willing to hang onto the sign until October for the general election that would be best. We’re asking everyone to hang onto them and put them back out in October to remind people to vote for Kelsey for the Nov election.

If you want “the sign guy” aka my dad to come collect your sign just send us a PM and someone will grab it.

For those that have big signs, those are coming down and we are in that process right now.
