Attention Older Adults: Share your story of the Brooklyn you grew up in!

Thursday, July 30 from 12-6 pm, BPL's Services for Older Adults will be onsite at Gerritsen Beach Library to record oral histories of South Brooklyn. If you live in Bergen Beach, Mill Basin, marine Park, Gerritsen Beach, Manhattan Beach, or Sea Gate, we want your story!

We were thrilled to host acclaimed musician Darius Kaufmann for his "Music of the Earth" show, attended by P.S. 277 Second Graders! Mr. Kaufmann took kids on a trip to five continents, planing an Australian didgeridoo, a Nativ American drum, Scottish bagpiopes, and more!
