Join us on Friday for our Summer Reading Kickoff. We will be joined by the folks Urban Stages for a musical performance about rebellious women throughout history. We will also have free zine kits for adults and other Summer Reading goodies. The event will take place at our sister branch Jamaica Bay Library. We can't wait to see you!

Want your kiddos to learn about gardening and the environment? The Canarsie library has its own plot at Ponderosa Garden, 664 E 105th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11236. Come garden with us on Tuesday, May 19, from 3-4 p.m. We will be giving away free seedlings while supplies last. This program is designed for children ages 4 and up, and their caregivers.

Today at Saratoga Library, 182 Thomas Boyland Ave. Stop in before 6 for a Stem Kit (featured below) made by Canarsie TRS, Emaliy.

On Wednesday, from 1-2 pm, drop by NHS Brooklyn, 1734 Rockaway Parkway, for free resume and Career help.

From 2 to 3 pm, stop by Sylk Cove and Lounge, 1370 Rockaway Parkway, for a Spring Reset Kit Grab n' Go.

On Thursday, from 3:30 to 4:30, stop by Sylk Cove to decorate a gift for Mother's Day (ages 3-12).
