RIP (Lincoln’s own Class of 1956) Neil Sedaka☹️🥲 After a few misses at getting to meet him, I was finally able to meet Neil and his wife backstage when he performed at one of (Borough President) Marty Markowitz’s Concerts in the Park many years ago. We only had 10 minutes together, but we shared some great stories about our various years at Lincoln HS!
Fortunately for all of us, Neil’s music will last a lifetime!😇

Neil Sedaka, legendary singer-songwriter behind hits like 'Breaking Up Is Hard to Do' 'Bad Blood,' 'Laughter in the Rain' and 'Calendar Girl,' has died. He was 86.
