If you've received one of these Postal Verification Cards (PVC), that means your voter registration has been updated or added to the Statewide Voter Registration System. This mailed notice confirms your address and includes helpful voting information like your polling place location and elective districts. Undeliverable PVCs will result in a challenge on your voter record. You cannot vote until the challenge is resolved. You can also check your registration status at mnvotes.sos.mn.gov.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Community Update event last Wednesday as we came together in remembrance of Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman, Mark Hortman, and their beloved dog, Gilbert, while also honoring the healing journey of Senator John Hoffman and his family.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Senator Hoffman for joining us and sharing heartfelt memories of Melissa Hortman, as well as reflecting on the challenges, resilience, and support that have carried his family through this difficult time.

We are grateful to Hennepin County's COPE team for attending and providing valuable resources and support to Brooklyn Park residents.

Meaningful conversations took place with Chief Bruley, and we want to reassure residents that the safety and well-being of our community remains our highest priority.

Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Note: City offices will be closed today, Friday, June 19 for the holiday. This includes City Hall, the Zanewood Recreation Center and the DMV office in City Hall.
