Greetings to Our Neighbors and Friends in Brooklyn Center,

A group of supporters reached out, urging us to restart our campaign for Brooklyn Center City Council as a write-in candidate. With the election fast approaching, things are moving quickly, and I wanted to address the important question: Why now?

For over 25 years, I’ve lived, worked, and raised my family in Brooklyn Center. I’ve seen our city through its highs and lows, and like many of you, I want nothing more than to see it thrive. For my two sons, and all of our children, we need to build a Brooklyn Center where they can grow up safely, with access to opportunities, affordable homes, good jobs, and a secure future.

Earlier, I had paused my campaign, but seeing the need for diverse voices to represent our city, I’ve decided to continue my run for City Council. I’m ready to bring my decades of experience, passion, and dedication to City Hall to help ensure Brooklyn Center remains a place we’re all proud to call home.

Please vote for me as a Write-In on your ballot.

I want to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported my campaign and believed in our vision for a better Brooklyn Center. While the election results were not what we had hoped for, I am incredibly proud of the work we’ve done together and the conversations we’ve sparked in our community.

Running for City Council has been a humbling and rewarding experience. I’ve had the privilege of connecting with so many of you, listening to your concerns, and discussing the future of our city. Though we did not achieve the outcome we aimed for, we succeeded in bringing important issues to the forefront and inspiring a collective effort to improve our community.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my opponents for their campaigns and their commitment to Brooklyn Center. It takes great dedication to run for public office, and I respect the hard work they’ve put in. I wish them all success as they continue to serve our community.

To my family, friends, and supporters—thank you. Your encouragement, hard work, and belief in our campaign have been a source of strength for me. This campaign may have ended, but our shared commitment to Brooklyn Center continues. I remain dedicated to advocating for better public safety, stronger economic growth, and improved public services.

This is not the end of my journey in public service. I will continue to be an active and engaged member of our community, and I look forward to contributing in any way I can to the betterment of Brooklyn Center.

Thank you all for your support. Together, we will continue to work for the city we love.
