We’re also excited to share a very special video celebrating our incredible 5th graders as they spread their wings and head off to middle school. We know they are destined for amazing things!

And speaking of amazing… wait until you see some familiar faces! This video also features our 2018–2019 5th grade class, who are now the Class of 2026 high school graduates. 🎓 Wow! It was so special to welcome them back to GC and see how much they’ve grown. Watching them walk the same grounds where their journey began is truly inspiring.

Here’s a glimpse into our 2nd Annual Career Fair—and what an incredible success it was!
Our scholars had the opportunity to connect with outstanding professionals, explore a variety of career paths, and gain valuable insight from industry leaders who generously shared their time, knowledge, and experiences.

We are especially grateful to Luther Collision & Glass for partnering with us and investing in the future of our students. Hearing firsthand from community partners who are committed to inspiring and mentoring the next generation makes events like this even more meaningful.

Hello GC Families!
I hope you’re all having a beautiful Memorial Day weekend and enjoying the much-needed sunshine and warmer weather!

As we take time to reflect on the meaning of this weekend and honor the families and loved ones who have served, I also wanted to share a quick look back at the amazing week we had together at GC.

Our students and staff had an absolute blast during Field Day, filled with energy, laughter, teamwork, and so many smiles! We then gathered for our annual Family BBQ — one of our favorite traditions that truly highlights the incredible sense of joy, connection, and community that makes GC so special. We wrapped up the week with a wonderful staff potluck where everyone shared favorite dishes, great conversations, and lots of appreciation for one another.

It was such a fun and meaningful week from start to finish, and we are so grateful to all of our families for being part of this amazing community.

We can’t wait to see everyone back on Tuesday as we finish the school year strong together! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! 🐬😊

🍎🎉 What an INCREDIBLE Teacher Appreciation Week at GC! 🎉🍎

This week was all about celebrating the amazing educators who pour so much love, time, energy, and dedication into our scholars each and every day. From the bottom of our hearts — THANK YOU for all you do! ❤️📚✨

A HUGE thank you goes out to all of our wonderful parents and community supporters who helped make this week so special by donating delicious treats, goodies, and surprises for our staff throughout the week! Your generosity and support mean the world to us. 💙

Special shout-outs to:
🍕 Our amazing community friend and “Bagel Lady,” Diane Sannes, for generously providing pizza for our staff!
⚡ Monster Energy for stopping by and dropping off several cases of energy drinks for our team to enjoy!
🥤 One of our incredible Dolphin Crew parents for donating flavored syrups for our refresher bar!

These students have shown S.W.I.M. in various ways at school, and we are proud of their consistency, commitment, and ability to be a leader even when they think no one is watching.

GC students and staff wrapped up the week in style with our “Wear Your Best Sports Gear” day! The hallways were filled with mini athletes in action and a few seasoned pros who clearly still have some game left 😄
From jerseys to sneakers, everyone showed up ready to represent, bringing tons of energy, laughs, and school spirit along the way.

Our 5th-grade scholars had the opportunity of a 2-week dance course from Minneapolis' own Shapeshift Dance Company. During that time, our scholars learned about different ways to dance and make shapes with their bodies, while also telling a story.

Today they took center stage and showcased bravery, confidence, and courage through dance movements. Our 5th-grade families and the whole 4th-grade team were present for the event.

4th graders showed their support by making signs to encourage and cheer 5th grade on as they showed us their new moves.

We are so proud of every single 5th-grade student, and we all saw your bravery, courage, and confidence today. Well done! 👏

Thank you to the entire Shapeshift Dance company and team, you all were nothing short of amazing and cool 😎 in every way. We appreciate your leadership and commitment to making sure our students all felt valued and gifted in their own ways.
