PSA: Flash Flood Watch
Remnants of Hurricane IDA

The National Weather Center has issued a flood watch for Delaware County from Wednesday morning through Thursday morning. We anticipate 4 to 6 inches of rain, with locally higher amounts. The combination of rain with already wet conditions is expected to lead to flash flooding, some of which may be significant. We urge residents to clear any storm drains on your property, relocate vehicles and valuables from areas that are prone to flooding, and be alert for possible evacuations. Thank you to our Public Works crews, who have been clearing storm drains all week, and to our first responders, who stand ready to provide assistance, if needed. Stay Safe Everyone.
