New Sight VFD Units are back in service this evening after assisting Brookhaven FD with a large grass fire on I-55. Multiple Lincoln County VFDs assisted with containing the fire.

Today, units from New Sight VFD responded to a fire involving a piece of logging equipment. Due to a quick response time from NSVFD the fire was contained to the piece of equipment and the fire did not spread into the woods.

34 years of dedicated service to the New Sight community is quite the accomplishment. After all those years you can still find him helping out at training sessions, servicing our fleet of trucks, and running calls all over Lincoln County.
