This weekend was Landwarming at ABATE Acres. The crew did a great job! They even spruced up the front gates. Also had to get a token picture at HOG corner. If your coming to the Summer Hummer 2026 this is usually a fun photo op while your riding the area.

We hope to see you all at the Hummer!

Today's a great day to take a ride - which means drivers should pay closer to attention to those around them. Motorcycles have a smaller profile and can be hard to see. Please look twice for bikes before changing lanes, turning out onto a road, and merging.

If you are planning to attend the ABATE of Wisconsin May 16th BOD meeting at ABATE Acres, this is a reminder it is starting at noon rather than the normal 1:15pm start time.

Thank you.

A few questions come to mind seeing this story...
Had the light signaled for the car driver to turn left?
Did the motorcyclist have a green light?
How fast was the motorcyclist going?

The best things we can do to make sure we get home safely are:
Get trained.
Don't ride under the influence.
Obey the traffic laws.

Doing so give us the best opportunity to react fast enough when someone else makes a mistake.

The motorcyclist survived and will have a story to tell https://www.wbay.com/2026/05/11/motorcycle-left-hanging-off-traffic-light-after-crash/
