In recognition of Su***de Prevention Month, Pershing Health System’s Senior Life Solutions team invites you to join us for a special Community Rock Painting event on Thursday, September 17.

Sometimes a few simple words can make a difference. Come paint positive and encouraging messages on rocks that can help remind someone that they matter, they are not alone and there is always hope.

This is a FREE, family-friendly event, and all ages are welcome. All painting materials will be provided, so all you need to bring is yourself and a little creativity!

While you’re here, you’ll also have an opportunity to learn more about su***de prevention, mental health awareness and resources available in our community.

Who would like a paw at their home or business? The boys will paint a white paw at your desired location and all proceeds go toward helping the cost of team meals on Thursdays. We will start a list and once we have 10 requests we'll start scheduling the boys to come by with the stencil.

The IRS is hosting a Special Community Assistance Event in Brookfield August 25-27 from 8:30am-4pm at 116 West Brooks Street, Brookfield City Hall. This opportunity gives local residents to meet with IRS employees face-to-face with no appointment necessary. Just bring you photo ID and any letters or notices from the IRS.
