🌎🇹🇹 Exercise Tradewinds 25

Marines from Lima Company participated in Exercise Tradewinds 25, a multi-national training exercise aimed at strengthening regional security and interoperability across the Caribbean.

During this training, troops from Trinidad and Tobago conducted their Battlesight Zero (BZO) before transitioning into small arms drills alongside Marines of Lima Company. Staff Sergeant Parker and Corporal Bonner led instructions on the M18 service pistol, covering operational functions, carrying techniques, and foundational marksmanship.

Corporal Diaz was recognized with a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM) for his outstanding efforts in bridging language gaps between partner forces. His role included briefing range safety protocols, serving as a Primary Safety Officer and coach, and co-presenting the 5-paragraph order alongside Major Matson prior to platoon attack rehearsals and the final exercise (FINEX).

Additional highlights include Lance Corporals Stites and Said delivering a comprehensive M240B machine gun familiarization class and refining weapon handling and combat maneuver drills in preparation for live-fire exercises.

Bravo Zulu to all Marines involved for their professionalism and commitment to enhancing multinational readiness.

Day 3 / Graduation Day of Lance Corporal Seminar Class 2-25 concluded with pride, reflection, and a renewed sense of purpose. This seminar was nothing short of exceptional, from classroom instruction to physical training and leadership exposure, these Marines experienced a journey designed to forge future leaders.
Throughout the course, Class 2-25 was privileged to receive a visit from a Silver Star recipient, conduct PT alongside other NCOs and motivators, complete a Resupply Run with their instructors, 1stSgt, and Company Commander, and most notably, conclude with the distinguished presence of the Battalion Commander, Battalion Sergeant Major, Company Gunnery Sergeant, NCOs, Staff, Officers, and fellow Marines at their graduation.
This is how we build leaders, one Lance Corporal Seminar at a time.
Congratulations to Class 2-25 for embracing the challenge, committing to the process, and taking the next step in becoming the leaders our Corps demands.

Well done, Marines. Semper Fidelis. Marine Forces Reserve U.S. Marine Corps

Families, friends, and Marines of 3/25 gathered to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Operation Iraqi Freedom, a moment to reflect on the heroes made, the lives lost, and the extraordinary valor displayed on that fateful day. Though two decades have passed, the memory of those who served and those who fell lives on in the hearts of all who stood beside them, and most importantly, those who walk in their footsteps.
