🚨 Scam Alert: Protect Your Loved Ones 🚨

We want to raise awareness about a troubling scam targeting seniors nationwide, including our area. The "grandparent scam" involves fraudsters posing as court members, bail bondsmen, or other government officials, stating that a relative (usually a child or grandchild) is in urgent need of financial assistance due to emergencies. They often ask for money via wire transfer or gift cards, and even cash, exploiting our natural instinct to help loved ones.

❗️ How to Protect Yourself:
1️⃣ Verify the caller's identity. Ask specific questions that only your relative would know.
2️⃣ Resist the urge to act immediately. Verify the situation with other family members.
3️⃣ Be cautious of requests for money transfers, cash, or gift cards as payment.
