🎒 When building your kit, be sure to consider these essential supplies for your household. Remember to also take advantage of permanent sales tax exemptions on a variety of disaster preparedness items.

🌀 Do you know your Levy County Hurricane Evacuation Zone? You can find out today by visiting www.floridadisaster.org/know and following the instructions there. You'll be able to view a detailed map of Levy County and search by address.

⚠️ Even if you do not live in an evacuation zone, it's still important to pay attention when evacuation orders are issued. Depending on the forecast for each storm, evacuations may be also recommended for mobile homes, RV parks, low-lying areas, or other vulnerable locations throughout the entire county.

Our evacuation zones are based on a statewide study that considers several factors such as land elevation and storm surge risk. Using these data-driven evacuation zones helps reduce potential congestion on evacuation routes, allows officials to issue appropriately-timed evacuation orders, and supports evacuations specific to the areas most at risk.
