Bronson Police / City of Bronson would like to remind residents to please not blow their cut grass out into the streets. This causes a safety hazard for bicycles/motorcycles and motor vehicles. It also causes our storm drains to plug quickly leading to flooding in the street when rain storms develop. The city just had the streets swept for the spring and we are already noticing many residents are continually blowing their cut grass out in the street.

If you have done so, please remove the cut grass from the curb/gutter areas and refrain from depositing your cut grass/leaves in the street in the future.
Thank you, Bronson Police / City of Bronson

Today February 14th, 2026, I had the honor to meet and es**rt Noah Coughlan through Bronson on his way westward. Noah is aiming to the third person to cross all 50 states by foot. You may have seen him with the big American Flag on his push cart coming down US 12 from Coldwater. We wish him safe travels as he works his way to Indiana and west. Keep an eye out on our page, sometime in the next day or so he may be posting a small snip it of his stop here at the Bronson Police Dept.

If you would like to see more of his journeys so far, his website is runforusa.com

Bronson Police want to remind citizens not to place their trash containers in the street. This obstructs traffc flow as well as the ability for the street crews to clear snow off the streets. This is becoming a problem in various places around town and we want to make sure your street is cleared of snow properly.

Thank you
Bronson Police.

We want to remind citizens with the forecast of snow accumulations over the weekend and beyond, all vehicles need to be removed from the city streets by 2am as per city ordinance. Our street crew typically comes in and starts plowing streets shortly after that. Having to plow around your vehicle slow the trucks down and everyone wants the streets plowed and salted for safe travels. So please make sure your vehicles are not left in the street overnight.

Thank you,
Bronson Police
