🚒 As LCFR crews continue working tirelessly to combat the Goethe Wildfire, the Station 11 crew out of Morriston noticed that several residences had their American flags damaged or destroyed by the fire. Without hesitation, the crew stepped in to replace them—restoring a meaningful symbol for those affected.

We are incredibly proud of our personnel for going above and beyond.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with everyone impacted by the fires, as well as all fire crews working diligently to bring them under control. We are deeply grateful for the continued support from our community.

🔥 What Your Local 4069 Has Been Up To! 🔥

Recently, your Local 4069 Union had the honor of participating in Embers of Hope Burn Camp, a life-changing program for young burn survivors right here in Florida.

We brought the fiesta spirit with a full Taco Party during mealtime , turning the dining hall into a vibrant celebration! 🌮🎉

Two of our dedicated Local 4069 members also volunteered four full days as 1-on-1 camp counselors, creating unforgettable bonds with their campers.

Camp activities were nothing short of amazing; water fun, outdoor games, a scavenger hunt in the Florida heat, horseback riding, zip lining, bounce houses, fire truck visits, and even a black light dance party to wrap up the week! 🐴🚒💃

Safety is always the #1 priority at Embers of Hope. With a 1:1 counselor-to-camper ratio, every child received the attention, care, and support they deserve; and judging by the smiles, it’s safe to say the kids had the time of their lives! 💛

As always, thank you to everyone working behind the scenes to make events like this possible, and to Embers of Hope Burn Camp for allowing us to be part of such a special week.
