This is the official ministry page of Because of Jesus Ministries. This page was created to share the Good news of the Gospel of grace. It is my desire to encourage people to live free from performance based religion and rest in the finished work of Jesus. When we embrace our identity in Jesus and His unconditional love for us, we can truly live loved and live free and begin to truly enjoy our lives in Christ.

Some days, you can feel invisible even when you are surrounded by people.

You may wonder whether anyone truly sees what you are carrying, understands how you feel, or notices how hard you are trying.

But you are never overlooked by your Heavenly Father.

He sees every detail of your life. He knows the thoughts you have not spoken aloud. He notices every tear, every prayer, every concern, and every quiet act of faithfulness.

Jesus said that even the hairs on your head are numbered. That is how personally and intimately you are known.

As you go through your day, remind yourself:

I am seen.
I am known.
I am deeply valued by God.
I do not have to be afraid.

How would you live differently today if you truly believed you had God’s full attention?

I once carried deep resentment toward someone who had hurt me.

I replayed what they had done. I judged their choices. I thought about what they should have said, what they should have done, and how unfairly I had been treated.

My anger felt justified.

Then the Holy Spirit gently reminded me:

“Connie, that is not who you are. You are one with Jesus. You carry His love, kindness, and forgiveness.”

I thought about Jesus on the cross, looking at the people who mocked and rejected Him, yet still praying for their forgiveness.

So I whispered, “Father, I forgive them. Help me see them through Your eyes.”

As I agreed with who Jesus said I was, the resentment began to lose its hold on my heart. Compassion started replacing anger.

Forgiveness did not mean that what happened was acceptable.

It meant I was no longer allowing what someone else did to control what lived inside me.

You may not be able to change what happened, but through Jesus, you can become free from carrying it.

Is there someone you need to release today?

God once reminded me that He cared about something as ordinary as my missing suitcase.

My sister and I had just landed in Switzerland when I checked the airline app. Her suitcase had arrived, but mine had not made it onto the plane.

We still had a long train ride ahead of us, and I needed everything in that suitcase for the ministry trip.

I felt anxiety and frustration beginning to rise.

Then I paused and asked, “Father, what do You say?”

I immediately sensed Him reassuring me:

“Connie, I see you. I see what you’re concerned about, and I’m going to take care of you.”

I didn’t know how. I simply chose to rest in what He said.

When we arrived at baggage claim, the very first suitcase to appear was my sister’s—and mine was leaning directly on top of it.

That day reminded me that nothing concerning us is too small for our Father.

Sometimes the first miracle is not that the situation changes.

Sometimes the first miracle is the peace He gives you while you’re still standing there waiting.

What ordinary concern do you need to bring to Him today?

Here is something I want you to remember today:

God’s love for you does not rise and fall with your performance.

He does not love you more on your best day or less on your worst day. His love is not withdrawn when you struggle, make a mistake, or feel like you have fallen short.

You do not have to earn your way back into His heart. Because of Jesus, you already belong there.

Nothing from your past can separate you from His love. Nothing you are facing today can separate you from His love. And nothing waiting in your future can separate you from His love.

Take a deep breath and let this truth settle your heart:

You are completely, unconditionally, and eternally loved by God.

Who needs this reminder today?

For twenty years, my mom and I went to church while my dad stayed home.

We prayed for him again and again, but after so many years, it was easy to wonder whether anything was happening.

Then one day, the Holy Spirit made a promise from Scripture come alive in my heart: believe in Jesus, and salvation will come to your household.

I called my mom and said, “Dad is coming into the kingdom of God, and it won’t be long.”

She was kind but understandably cautious. After all, we had been praying for twenty years.

But something had changed inside me. I was no longer praying from desperation. I was thanking God for working in my dad’s heart.

Six months later, during the time of my grandfather’s funeral, my dad accepted Jesus as his Savior.

From that point forward, he attended church with my mom for the rest of his life.

Twenty years of waiting did not mean God had been absent.

Please don’t confuse silence with inactivity. The Holy Spirit can be working deeply in someone’s heart long before you see outward evidence.

Who are you continuing to pray for today?
