The Pleasant Valley Cubs Youth Football has their first home game today. It is at the Pleasant Valley High School stadium. Come watch the exciting action at 11 this morning! For more info visit www.pvcubs.com.

Pleasant Valley Cubs Football Association organized youth football and cheerleading. We hep children gain valuable life lessons such as teamwork, respect, commitment and dedication.

The Western Pocono Lions will hold their May meeting this Thursday, the 18th, at Cherry's Restaurant in Kresgeville. It starts at 6 PM. Visitors are always welcome. If you have ever wondered what the Lions are about, feel free to come visit.

The Lions Internationally has a program that trains dogs as seeing eye dogs for the vision impaired. The Western Pocono Club supports this mission.

The Western Pocono Lions was fortunate enough to have Ray Sierminski and Kayla Schatz as guests at our meeting this past Thursday the 20th. Ray is the President of the Pleasant Valley Cubs, a youth football organization in the West End of Monroe County. Kayla is a fund raiser for the group. Our club, the Western Pocono Lions are sponsoring their organization this year. We wish them a very good season and hope to be able to help as the season progresses.
