Yesterday, the PVHS Envirothon Team and parents delivered the 2 wood turtle head starts back to Jared Green at the Cherry Valley Wildlife Refuge. They practiced using radio telemetry to locate turtles, and they also went in the stream to collect macroinvertebrates to ID (and then be used as turtle food). They also learned how you can use water samples to collect DNA and then ID stream species.

Big congratulations to all of our PVI students who earned a spot in the Zero Referral Water Balloon Challenge! Because these amazing students kept their behavior on track and had zero office referrals, they won the ultimate reward: throwing water balloons at Mrs. Albright, Mrs. Bencker, and Mr. Dudley! 🎯
