Boil Water Advisory Beginning tomorrow March 12, 2026
The city of Mt Vernon is going to be replacing some lines that affect the main coming into Brodhead.
As soon as possible we will test

The City of Brodhead has issued a boil water advisory
This is all customers who purchase from Brodhead Water!
An update will be posted when the advisory is lifted
Our system has a water break
When the temperatures drops and then starts warming back up this is to be expected

To use :
Bring water to a rolling boil for at least 1 minute before drinking
Use boiled or bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth and making ice if you prefer
You may bathe and wash hands as normal Avoid swallowing water
This advisory will remain in place until testing confirms the water is safe. Updates will be shared as soon as available
Please be patient with us while we are working on this problem
