**IMPORTANT NOTICE: Changes to Village Brush Pickup Policy**
To eliminate confusion and streamline our services, the Village is updating its monthly brush pickup schedule and guidelines. Please review the timeline and rules below carefully.
📅 **Upcoming Schedule & Transition**
**JUNE PICKUP (Old Schedule):** June's pickup will proceed as previously advertised, starting on **Monday, June 22nd**.
**STARTING IN JULY (New Schedule):** Beginning in July, pickup will strictly take place during the **LAST week of the month** (not the last *full* week). starting on Monday, July 27th, August 31st, September 28th and October 26th.
**One Pass Only:** The Department of Public Works (DPW) will make **ONE pass** through the village during brush pickup week. If your brush is not out when the crew passes your property, they will not return.
🛑 **Placement & Timing Guidelines**
**Timing:** All brush must be placed at the curb the **weekend immediately preceding** the pickup week.
**Do Not Put Out Early:** To keep our neighborhoods tidy, residents are **strictly prohibited** from placing brush at the curb prior to the weekend before pickup.
**Keep Pathways Clear:** Brush must be piled neatly. Do **not** block the sidewalk or allow brush to spill into the road, as this creates safety hazards for pedestrians and drivers.
📋 **Please Note:** Code Enforcement will be monitoring neighborhoods to ensure compliance. Property owners who place brush out too early or block walkways/roads will be issued a courtesy notice to remove or correct the pile.
🪵 **Missed the Pickup?**
If you miss the scheduled monthly pickup, please do not leave your brush at the curb. Instead, you can utilize our **DPW Truck Drop-Off Service**:
1. Call the DPW at **637-1060** to request a truck.
2. We will drop a brush truck off at your property at the end of the DPW shift.
3. You fill the truck overnight, and our crew will haul it away the following morning.
*Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our village safe, clean, and beautiful! If you have any questions, please contact the DPW at 637-1060.*
