Yesterday, we joined together to honor the victims of September 11, 2001, remembering the innocent lives lost and the extraordinary heroes who gave everything to save others. Their memory and sacrifice will forever remain in our hearts.

A heartfelt thank you to the Brockport Fire District for holding such a beautiful service.

We were grateful for the opportunity for Village staff to pause and attend the opening ceremony to pay their respects alongside our community and local first responders.

REMINDER: Brush pickup does not begin until the last full week of the month, starting Monday, September 28th.

If you already have brush out at the curb, please pull it back onto your property until pickup week.

Need to clear brush sooner? You don't have to wait! Call the DPW at 638-1060 to schedule a brush truck delivered to your property for you to fill.

Detours are posted via Clinton St and Clark St.

Smith Street Bridge Is Now Open!

The Village of Brockport is pleased to announce that the Smith Street Bridge is now open to traffic!

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of our Department of Public Works (DPW) team, who worked diligently to complete the necessary work and get the bridge reopened. We also appreciate everyone’s understanding regarding the one-day delay due to weather conditions.

Smith Street Bridge Project Update

The Village of Brockport is pleased to announce that Crane Hogan has completed the Smith Street bridge project as promised and on schedule.

At this time, however, the bridge must remain closed while the Department of Public Works completes the final pavement striping. Due to the recent rain and wet conditions, the striping cannot be safely completed.

As soon as weather conditions allow the DPW to safely complete the striping, the bridge will be reopened.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to complete this final step and safely return the bridge to service.

Now that we’ve had a few days to catch our breath and recover, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who made the 250th Celebration Through The Centuries event such an unforgettable success!

We were absolutely blown away by the incredible community turnout. Seeing families enjoy the sack races, pony rides, petting zoo, pie eating and baking contests, storefront and coloring contests, kayak parade, dunk tank, bounce house, face painting, live music, food trucks, and more made every ounce of effort worth it.
