On Saturday, Local 5129 had a packed schedule. We kicked off the day by hosting a bench press competition at Loyola health and fitness, followed by our participation in the West Suburban Firehouse Chili Cookoff with our renowned Broadview Fire Department Chili - also known as Chris' Moms Chili - which earned us second place!

Today our members dropped off toys to the children in the pediatric unit at Loyola who won’t be home for Christmas. The toys were donated by the public as well as purchased by the local. Thank you to everyone who assisted in spreading some Holliday cheer.

At 0730 today a great man, leader, officer and of course great mustache started his final shift. Capt. Armstrong dedicated 32 years to the Broadview Fire Department. Congratulations Capt.

Broadview Firefighter's Union Local 5129 and Westchester Firefighters Union L4851 held a charity softball tournament back in August. 🥎

They raised a total of $3,286!

They decided donated all of the proceeds to PFB! 🥰
