🚨 New Technology Alert! 🚨

The Broadview Police Department is proud to announce the deployment of our new Flock Mobile Trailer Security System — a cutting-edge tool designed to enhance community safety and provide real-time intelligence to our officers.

With this advanced technology, we can proactively monitor key areas, respond to incidents faster, and better protect the residents of Broadview. We are proud to be only the second municipality in the State of Illinois to implement this mobile security system!

👏 A special thank you to Mayor Katrina Thompson and the Broadview Village Board for their continued support and investment in public safety. Your leadership and commitment to innovation make advancements like this possible.

Together, we’re building a safer, smarter Broadview.

🍋 Community Connection 🍋

Today, Broadview Officer’s Calvillo & Angeles stopped by a neighborhood lemonade stand to support these young entrepreneurs! 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️ Their smiles (and lemonade!) made our day.

We’re proud to serve a community full of bright, hardworking kids — and we’ll always be there to encourage the next generation!

The Broadview Police Department reminds all residents and visitors that fireworks OF ANY KIND are strictly prohibited within the Village of Broadview.

Per Village Ordinance 15-12:
☑️It is unlawful to sell, store, possess, discharge, or set off fireworks in the Village.
☑️No person may sell or offer fireworks for sale at any time.
☑️Public fireworks displays require a special permit and must be supervised by the Broadview Fire Department.

🔸For many veterans, the loud blasts can trigger painful memories of combat.
🔸Pets, too, often experience extreme anxiety from the noise.

Violations of these ordinances will be enforced to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Celebrate safely and responsibly. Please enjoy the holiday with family, friends, and the many legal and safe ways to show your patriotism.
