🌼🐝 Broadview is blooming! 🦋🌿

The Broadview Public Library District is proud to announce the installation of our very first-ever pollinator garden — just in time for summer! Even better, the garden is readily viewable from our Youth Area, allowing children and families to enjoy and learn from this beautiful new space all season long.

Pollinator gardens help support butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and other important pollinators that play a critical role in protecting our environment and food systems. In addition to creating beauty, this garden reflects BPLD’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, education, and community enrichment.

This project absolutely would not have been possible without the incredible generosity, partnership, and volunteer support of our local community partner, Ferrara.

Their support helped turn this vision into a reality for the Broadview community, and we are deeply grateful for their investment in creating greener and more vibrant community spaces.

Be sure to stop by this summer to watch the garden grow! 🌸

We’re excited to announce that the Broadview Public Library District has partnered with Ferrara to install a brand-new pollinator garden at the library! 🌼🐝🦋

Pollinator gardens are specially designed spaces filled with native plants and flowers that provide food and habitat for important pollinators like bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other beneficial insects. These pollinators play a critical role in helping plants grow, supporting local ecosystems, and contributing to healthy food systems.

This project reflects the library’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and creating beautiful community spaces that educate and inspire.

We are incredibly grateful to Ferrara for this exciting initiative and helping us make a positive impact right here in Broadview!
