2026 Big Sky, Big Leadership Powder River County

Would you like to become more involved in our community? Would you like to feel welcome, valued and successful when working with groups, committees or organizations?

Big Sky, Big Leadership Powder River County is launching for its 3rd session beginning Thursday August 13th!

This is an opportunity for you and attendees to explore your own leadership style and to learn how to work effectively in groups for positive change. This program will empower you through education to better understanding of community decision making, to learn more about our community and issues, and to develop such skills as problem solving, working with groups, enhancing cooperation and dealing with conflict. One key component of Big Sky, Big Leadership is practicing the “learning in public” in a supportive environment. We would love to have you join us.

Teen 4-H is offering a Cloverbud Camp for any 6-8 year olds on June 2nd. The camp will be from 9:00-11:00 at the Cottonwood Park. There is a $10 fee.

Kids will enjoy hands-on fun, outdoor games, and time with their friends.

Forms were sent home with kids at the Elementary School but can be downloaded below. Forms are due today, May 26th.

MSU Extension Powder River County is hosting a 4-week youth leadership series focused on life skills, confidence, and career readiness.

Youth will:
🥗 Prepare healthy snacks
🗣 Practice conversation & communication skills
🌱 Learn about growth mindset, resiliency, values & influence
🎨 Reflect through art journaling
