Elevated fire danger through tomorrow. Consider delaying burns until the danger subsides. A reminder- burns are not allowed when the index is in the ‘Very High’ or ‘Extreme’ category. Also, Marshall County does approve/deny burns- it is required by ordinance to notify Dispatch. Burning outside of what the ordinance allows will result in a fine/court appearance! (When reporting a burn- Dispatch will advise if the index allows the burn.)
