Early voting started today for the August 4th Democratic and Republican primaries! Early voting will be conducted on Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, 300 Lee Street, Bristol, Virginia. We will be closed for the state observed holidays of Juneteenth - June 19th and Independence Day - June 3rd.
Also, remember that when two primaries are being conducted at the same time, you can only vote in one and therefore you must choose which primary you would like to vote in. Yesterday, June 16, 2026 was the candidate filing deadline for the local city council and school board offices that will appear on the November 3, 2026 ballot. Below is the list of candidates that qualified to appear on the ballot:
