THANK YOU! 🩷 Thanks to your generosity at the WOW event in April, over $8,500 was donated to the Women & Girls Immediate Response Fund! This was the amount that was donated to the Pass the Purse Initiative at WOW; small purses were placed on each table and attendees were encouraged to ‘Pass the Purse’ and donate what they could.

On the second Tuesday of June every year, National Call Your Doctor Day is celebrated. It is a day to encourage women to call their doctor or primary care provider to schedule their annual well-woman exam - it only takes a few moments, but could significantly impact your life!

The extraordinary 25th Anniversary WOW event was planned by a dedicated committee. However, they were led by four women who put their heart and soul into the event - coming up with creative and new ideas, turning everyone's thoughts into plans and action, and creating a unique event that was pure celebration.

A big thank you to Mayor Ellen Zoppo-Sassu for visiting our Women’s Workforce Empowerment Program! We appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to share your story and words of encouragement with our participant, as well as your continued support of BristolWORKS!.

The 25th Anniversary WOW event was an incredible celebration of a milestone that was years in the making. A sold-out crowd, a record amount of sponsorships, fabulous silent auction items, a bake sale, and an overall joyful atmosphere made it a night to remember.
