Bristol Fire Department The Bristol Fire Department is committed to providing Fire and EMS services to the Town of Bristol and surrounding areas.

We are a combination department meaning we operate with full-time staff and volunteers. BFD's Mission statement is to prevent or minimize the loss of life, damage to the environment, and loss of property from the adverse effects of fire, medical emergencies, and hazardous conditions. The FD values are Teamwork, Integrity, and Excellence.

The Bristol Fire Department recently conducted extrication training on Saturday, featuring demonstrations from three prominent tool suppliers: TNT, Holmatro, and Amkus. Our staff and volunteers had the opportunity to engage in hands-on training with various tools. We extend our gratitude to Lard's Towing and Recovery Solutions and Miller’s Garage of Middlebury for donating and delivering vehicles for the training exercise.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our mutual aid partners for their assistance and support on scene: Middlebury Fire Department, Jefferson Township Fire Department, Osolo Fire & EMS, Concord Fire Department, White Pigeon Fire Department and SEPSA Fire Authority/Porter Fire Department.
