We are always looking to return animals to their homes and adopt the ones we have in the shelter!! This page is for the purpose of providing information to owners of lost pets and providing forever homes to those animals who are not reclaimed. All animals impounded by Animal Control are held for 5 days not including day of intake (with no identification) or 10 days not including day of intake (with any type of identification). Animals can be reclaimed at Bristol Animal Care and Control 275 Shakesville Rd. Bristol, VA 24201. 276 645-3714.

Our annual Trunk or Treat is Thursday, October 29, and this year we’re planning for it to be bigger and better than ever!

Help us make sure we have plenty of candy for everyone by donating new, unopened, individually wrapped candy. Every bag helps!

📍 Donations can be dropped off at the Bristol Virginia Police Department, 551 Scott Street.

Snoopy has been ADOPTED, and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

We can only imagine his reaction when he sees all the acres he now gets to explore and call his own. From medicated meatballs and “spa days” at the shelter to a forever home with room to roam — Snoopy hit the jackpot.

A huge thank you to the wonderful people who opened their hearts and added this sweet boy to their family. Have the best life, Snoopy. You deserve it!

She was wearing a teal collar but unfortunately has no microchip.
