NEW START DATE FOR LIPMAN MIDDLE SCHOOL!

Please help us spread the word to our families!

Due to delays in construction at Lipman Middle School, the start of school for Lipman students WILL NOW BE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH. This was approved by the BSD school board last night.

This will impact the school calendar by 12 days.

Spring Break will be reduced from 10 days to 5 days. 4/11/22-4/15/22 will now be school days for Lipman students.

Two scheduled in-service days 10/11 and 2/24 will now be school days for Lipman students

5 days will be added to the end of the school year making the last day move from June 10 to June 17.

Mr. Collver and Mrs. Heckerman will be sending out additional information regarding this change and the upcoming school year shortly. Families can also reference Mr. Collver's Community Letter sent on July 23rd.

This decision was made with the best interests and needs of our students in mind. We are truly sorry for any hardship this may create and once again find ourselves exercising that lifeskill of flexibility. Thank you!

As we all know, this year has looked very different, and with the students not on campus, we are mostly crowd sourcing this year, and asking for pictures from home for this year's Lipman yearbook.

We are looking for the following:

Your student Distance Learning, on the computer at home or backyard
A selfie or picture of your student wearing a mask
Your student decorating or working on a holiday craft
Your student dressed up on Halloween
Your student doing community work or attending a socially distant community event

Photos can be emailed to: [email protected]
