Today our Social Justice Book Club met to discuss The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon, and picked up next month's selection: an article entitled "How Originalism Killed the Constitution" by Jill Lepore. Another great Project Next Generation workshop took place yesterday: Digital Illustration Pixel Art!

Project Next Generation programs at the Brimfield Public Library are provided by grant funding awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).

Tremendous thanks to all of the WOOF Therapy Dogs (We Offer Our Friends) Therapy Dog Teams who traveled to join us for a fun-filled evening of Doggie BINGO last night! Visits from these sweet canines always fill the room with smiles and laughter. And thanks so much also, to all of the BINGO players for attending! It was a "WOOF! WOOF!" wonderful time!

Coming up this Wednesday, it's PIXEL ART! Level up your creativity with a step-by-step tutorial to create pixel art using iPads, Apple Pencils, and the Procreate appβ€”and take home both a digital and printed version of your finished masterpiece. Interested in digital illustration but can’t make it to the program? Students in grades 5–12 can drop by the Library during regular hours to continue building their skills.
