November BWSD Special Dates and Billing Information....

The November bills were mailed out Friday, October 31, 2025 from the Steubenville Ohio Post Office. If you do not receive your bill, please contact our office to obtain your balance or to get a duplicate copy. We are not responsible for mail delivery.

Delinquent balances are due Monday, November 10, 2025 to avoid delinquent processing. To avoid the delinquent processing fee, please contact the office to make payment arrangements or pay your past due balance by 2:00pm on 11/10/25. Door cards cost you money, please call our office at 740-598-4322 to make a payment arrangement.

Bills are due by Monday, November 24th to avoid a late fee. With the Thanksgiving holiday, December bills will be printed on 11/25/25.

Our office will be closed the following days in November:
11/11/25 Veteran's Day; Thursday, 11/27/25 and Friday, 11/28/25 for Thanksgiving.

There will only be one board meeting this month due to Veteran's Day being on the second Tuesday. The Board will meet on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 6:00pm.

As always, our drop box is available for payments and is monitored by video surveillance.

The office closes to inside customers and phone credit card payments at 2:00pm daily. Check payments are now scanned and deposited into the bank from our office daily.

Update: 11/01/25 12:50pm - Boil Order RELEASED

Update: 10/31/25 10:25am - Water is on. Boil Order begins.

S.E.T. is performing service line tie-ins today, Monday and Tuesday.
This morning, the contractor hit the service line for 704 5th Street while completing a tie-in. The following will be without water during the repairs: ODD houses of the 700 block of 3rd Street; entire 700 block of 4th Street; 301, 303, 305, 307, 401 and 403 Ohio Street. A mandatory 48-hour BOIL ORDER will begin once water is restored. ALL customers may experience dirty water. Please follow this post for update. Please share!

Update: 10/24/25 2:15pm - Water is back on Boil Order starts now.

PROJECT POST
Another water tie-in is scheduled for the 5th and Ohio Street portion of the project. Please see flyer for the list of customers affected by the outage and boil order. ALL residents should refrain from was washing clothes due to the possibility of discolored water throughout the system. Ray from S.E.T. delivered notices to the customers affected by the outage.

10/14/25 5:30pm - Boil Order RELEASED

10/13/25 1:45pm - Water is slowly being restored Boil Order begins

The following is the notice that was hand-delivered to customers on Friday. The original valve replacement scheduled for 10/10/25 was rescheduled from Friday to today due to an additional broken valve. As a result, the outage area for the project had increased.

The District apologizes for inadvertently omitting additional streets and failing to include even house numbers on the 800 block of 4th Street in the initial notification. The notice should’ve also included all of Morris Street; the 1500 block of Gilchrist and the 1600 block of Hill Street.

There will be a 48 hours BOIL ORDER for all residents affected by the outage today once water is restored.

Replacing broken water valves is essential in reducing outage areas during a water break. Thank you for your patience during the repairs. If you have any questions, please contact our office tomorrow at 740-598-4322.
