🌿 Give back to the place we all love! 💚

Join Denver Audubon for National Public Lands Day at Barr Lake State Park, Colorado State Parks, a free morning of hands-on conservation, birding, wildlife education, and family-friendly fun!

Help plant native shrubs, collect willow stakes, and clean up the trails and shoreline. You can also enjoy an optional bird walk, children’s conservation activities, bird-banding education, and a chance to meet live raptor ambassadors! 🦅

Join Bird Conservancy of the Rockies for a morning filled with birds, nature, and family-friendly fun—and be sure to stop by the Friends of Barr Lake booth to say hello!

Are you a local maker, artisan, small business, nonprofit, or community organization? We’d love to have you join us for the 14th Annual Harvest Festival at Barr Lake State Park! 🦅🌾

Spend a fall morning connecting with local families, nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and community members while showcasing what you make, sell, or do.

We’re especially excited to welcome vendors offering handmade goods, natural products, nature-inspired items, family-friendly products and services, art, food, and other unique local offerings.

Take your plant knowledge beyond the garden center and into the wild! Join us for an Herb Walk & Talk at Barr Lake State Park, Colorado State Parks THIS SATURDAY and learn how to identify some of the herbs and useful plants growing along the park’s trails.
