Remember you can have not enter the park from the south. 96 to Kent Lake South to Silver Lake to Kensington Rd North and R East into the park, US 23 to to Silver Lake to Kensington Rd North and R East into the park.
Starting Monday, June 15, the Livingston County Road Commission will be closing Kensington Road just south of the Grand River Avenue intersection. The closure is expected to last until mid‑July. During this time, the only vehicle access to the park will be from the south.
If you're coming from I‑96, use Exit 153 (Kent Lake Road).
If you're coming from US‑23, use Exit 55 (Silver Lake Road).
On nice days, consider parking at the Mall Trailhead near JCPenney and walking or biking into the park—it's a great alternative.
