Adams County Defendant Sentenced to Prison After Armed Assault and Dangerous Incident in Brighton

“Juan Cabrera’s violent actions put a child, a good Samaritan, and an entire neighborhood at risk,” said District Attorney Brian Mason. “This conviction and sentenced holds Mr. Cabrera accountable for his actions that day. District Attorney Brian Mason stopped by the University of Colorado Anschutz Police Department recently to say hello and spend some time with their team. Even though they’re a smaller agency within our jurisdiction, their commitment to keeping the campus community safe is invaluable.

We appreciate their partnership and the important work they do every day. Thank you, CU Anschutz PD, for all you bring to our community.
