The county welcomes your comments and expects that conversation will follow the general rules of respect. The county's use of social media is provided as a public service. Our goal is to communicate news and events to citizens, to encourage participation and to responsibly serve the Adams County community with integrity and innovation. We may hide comments that do not comply with th
e site’s purpose and do not promote civil discussion. In addition, repeat offenders may be banned from our social forum. The following forms of content may be hidden:
• Obscene, profane, explicit, or racist language
• Potentially libelous statements, threats, harassment, or language inciting violence
• Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, or political party
• Sexual content or links to sexual content
• Campaign-related posts of any kind
• Commercial product or service promotions or solicitations
• Conduct or encouragement of illegal activity
• Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems
• Information that may tend to compromise the safety of Adams County employees.
• Comments that include emojis that can be portrayed as explicit language or sexual references. The county disclaims liability for ads, videos, promoted content or comments accessible from any external web page. The responsibility for external content or comments rests with the organizations or individuals providing them. Any inclusion of external content or comments does not imply endorsement by the county.
