BASKETBALL UPDATE

We have been receiving some messages about the youth & adult leagues.

We did get the roof repaired and a new floor. The gym looks awesome.

However, the current mayor and board of aldermen did not seek re-election. So, we didn’t want to start any leagues a few weeks before the new mayor and board take office. They will take office Tuesday evening, Dec. 10. So, stay tuned for updates from them.

*BASKETBALL UPDATE*

We have been working hard to get the roof and floor replaced. We have spoken with several companies. It looks like the roof can be completed soon. But we don't have an exact date on the roof yet. The floor cannot be started until after the roof is completed and then we will have to be placed on their schedule.

We do not want to start basketball registration until after we have dates set in stone for the roof and floor, so that we can make sure that there is enough time to get the games played,

We love all of our basketball families. We don't want anyone to leave us, but we also don't want to cause anyone to miss out on playing basketball this year. Other organizations will not only be finished with registration before we know a date but could very well be practicing.

Munford Park and Rec. basketball sign ups go through Friday, Oct. 27. Covington Park & Rec goes through Nov. 3

**BASKETBALL UPDATE *

We know everyone is excited about Brighton basketball. We have received several phone calls, text, and messages about sign ups. We have not had them yet because we have been trying to get our gym floor and roof repaired. With that being said, we have talked to multiple companies that have not been able to do the floor repairs. We have 1 more that we are waiting on. We will get an answer from them sometime tomorrow. As soon as we do, we will post either the registration link or if it has to be cancelled, so that you still have time to sign up at another organization. Thank you for your patience!
