EMS Week 2026

This week, we proudly recognize and celebrate the dedicated men and women who serve our communities through emergency medical services.

Here at Townline First Response, we are honored to serve the towns of Addison and Bridport, providing immediate care when it matters most. Whether it’s a late-night call, a roadside emergency, or a neighbor in need, our members show up with skill, compassion, and commitment every single time.

We are grateful to work alongside our transporting partners, Vergennes Area Rescue Squad and Middlebury Regional EMS , whose crews ensure our patients receive the continued care they need. Your professionalism and teamwork make a difference every day.

We also want to recognize our fellow first response agencies, Cornwall, Shoreham and Orwell First Response, who we regularly train with and stand beside. The strength of our system comes from this shared dedication and collaboration.

💙 EMS is more than a service. It’s a team, a family, and a commitment to community.

If you see a responder this week, take a moment to say thank you. And if you’ve ever thought about serving your community, now is a great time to get involved.

TLFRS is considering hosting a Vermont Emergency First Responder (VEFR) course this coming spring! It is only a two-day course!

Dates TBD!
