Today, your Bridgman Firefighters had the opportunity to assist a group of Bridgman High School students with a fun science experiment: How high can you drop an egg without scrambling it?

These young engineers put their creativity to work by designing protective capsules for their precious cargo—an egg. We then put their designs to the test by dropping them from our 100-foot ladder truck.

The students did an outstanding job and came up with some very impressive designs. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this hands-on learning experience and help bring science and engineering to life!

Please join the Bridgman community as we come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

We invite residents, families, veterans, and visitors to attend as we pause in remembrance and gratitude for those who gave their lives for our freedom.

❤️🤍💙 We hope to see you there as we honor our nation’s heroes.

City Hall got a little louder and a lot more fun thanks to a visit from some awesome Bridgman Elementary 2nd graders! 🏛️🚒🚔🚜💧

Students spent the day learning how the City of Bridgman works with tours of several departments and plenty of hands-on fun along the way.

Highlights included:
🏖️ Holding a mock City Council meeting and voting on Weko Beach t-shirt designs

🔥 Visiting Firefighter Dave and EMT Ashley

🚔 Meeting Officer Fortuna at the Police Department

🚜 Trying out the backhoe controls at the Street Department, where a couple students successfully knocked over a bucket

💧 Touring the Water Plant and learning how water gets to homes and businesses

Thank you to all of our staff who helped make the visit fun, interactive, and memorable.

We may have a few future city leaders in the making! 👀

🎨 Take a stroll down Lake Street!

Our 2026 Student Banners are now on display, and they’re something special. This year’s theme—“What I Love About Bridgman”—comes straight from the hearts of our local students.

This amazing project was made possible in partnership with Reed Middle School, and it truly shows the pride our younger residents have in this community.

📝 Each banner is paired with a student essay sharing why they chose their design—worth the read and guaranteed to make you smile.

Take a walk, slow down a minute, and check them out—you’ll see Bridgman through a whole new lens.
