Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills The Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills is a volunteer chapter which improves lives through leadership, service, and fellowship since 1947.

Meetings:1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at Gabriel’s Fountain Restaurant, Martinsville, NJ The Kiwanis Club of Somerset Hills is a volunteer chapter of Kiwanis International built upon improving lives through leadership, service, and fellowship. We are a 501(c)3 organization called Somerset Hills Kiwanis Foundation, Inc. Mission Statement: Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Kiwanis will be a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive. Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. We work with different community organizations including Visions & Pathways, community food banks and pantries, Lyons VA Hospital, and ARC of Somerset County. We work throughout northern and central Somerset County, NJ. We support the NJ District of Kiwanis International Foundation and the Kiwanis Children’s Fund. We invite other local community organizations to come speak at our club meetings and provide donations to many different charities as a result. Kiwanis clubs focus on changing the world by serving children, one child and one community at a time. To reach more people and have a greater service impact on their communities, many clubs sponsor a Kiwanis family club — K-Kids for primary school children; Builders Clubs for adolescents; Key Clubs for teens; Circle K clubs for university students and Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities. Our club sponsors Key Clubs at Bernards, Bridgewater-Raritan, Ridge, and Somerville High Schools where we support their work and also provide annual college scholarships.

Save the date! On October 17, we will be hosting a Make a Blanket Day at the Bridgewater Library for Project Linus - Hunterdon/Warren NJ Chapter! We'll be making no-sew fleece blankets and also collecting completed blankets.

Knitters and crocheters - please feel free to bring your current project to work on or donate any completed blankets!

We had a great time volunteering at the Somerset Patriots vs. Akron Rubber Ducks game last Saturday night! Thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Phillipsburg, Kiwanis Club of Edison, New Jersey, and the Kiwanis Club of Greater Mt. Laurel for helping us out! We had a successful night with over $800 earned for our clubs!
