The Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash Music Festival is coming this week to SeatGeek Stadium on June 12th-14th. During the festival, expect heavy traffic on Harlem Avenue and Roberts Road throughout the day. To ensure that festival goers do not enter into our neighborhoods the residential gates will be closed, and access for residents will be monitored. 2026 vehicle stickers will be required to pass through the area.

At the June 3, 2026 Meeting of the Bridgeview Village Board, the Trustees took the following actions:

Approved the minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 20, 2026.

Approved the appointment of Robert Thurzo as a member of the Village of Bridgeview Fire Pension Board.

Discussed the Nottingham Street Repaving Agreement with Burbank

Residents should begin planning ahead because Summer Smash is next weekend from Friday, June 12th to Sunday, June 14th. In order to prepare accordingly, Bridgeview Residents must have their 2026 Vehicle Sticker purchased to make traffic flow quickly on residential streets. PURCHASE NOW AT VILLAGE HALL! ⚠️ If you plan to have guests over during the festival weekend, call the Village Hall now!

On Sunday, May 31st a 5-kilometer run known as the Humanity 5K will be starting and finishing at SeatGeek Stadium. The route will include streets in the Village Hall area that will be closed and untraversable from approximately 9AM to 10AM. NO PARKING allowed on the street sections used for the route during this time. It is important that we work together to ensure the safety of the runners and residents by helping residents plan their morning around the very brief period that streets will be closed.

The following streets will be inaccessible from approximately 9AM to 10AM. 71st St. from Oketo to Beloit, Beloit from 71st to 78th St., 78th St. from Beloit to Thomas, Thomas from 78th to 75th St., 75th St. from Thomas to Oketo, and Oketo from 75th to 71st St.
