K-9 Hans earned his pilot wings today 😎

Just kidding! He left the flying to humans; paws can make things a little difficult πŸ’πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Training never stops for our K9 teams. 🐾🚁

Today, K-9 Hans and Deputy Chief Hitchner participated in environmental exposure training involving a helicopter to help strengthen his confidence, focus, and adaptability in high-stress and high-noise environments. These trainings are essential in preparing our dogs to perform effectively and safely during real-world incidents and investigations.

By exposing the K9s to different sights, sounds, vibrations, and distractions, we continue building reliable partners that are ready to work under any conditions. We are proud of the hard work and dedication shown by both our handlers and K9s during this valuable training opportunity. We would like to thank the New Jersey Forest Service and NJFireSafety for this opportunity!

Great job to all involved! πŸ•β€πŸ¦ΊπŸ”₯

All mobile food vendors are required to obtain a permit from the City of Bridgeton Fire Department Bureau of Fire Prevention when operating within our jurisdiction.

Please note: a permit inspection is required each time a food truck sets up at a new location, or if it leaves a location and later returns.

To avoid any delays, be sure to apply for your permit through our website ahead of time at www.bridgetonfire.com

Before your inspection, please review the checklist below to ensure you have everything needed for approval. βœ”οΈ

We look forward to working with you to keep our community safe while enjoying all the great food this season has to offer!

If you see a haze of smoke, or an odor throughout the City, be aware we are seeing results of the fire in the Delaware River.

Brady’s K9 Fund generously donated a ballistic vest
for our department's four legged officer, K9 Hans. Brady's K9 is passionate about supporting our four- legged officers who work tirelessly to keep our community safe. Their organization is dedicated to providing essential equipment and resources to these brave K9s, ensuring they are well-equipped
and protected for their entire shift.

Brady's K9 Fund was founded by Brady S. who at the time was 8-years-old and felt K9 officers deserve body armor, just like their human partners. Since 2018 Brady's Fund has raised over $1.6M and vested 1,652+ K9s across all 50 states. Their mission is ongoing!
