Catholic Charities of Fairfield County

Catholic Charities of Fairfield County Catholic Charities is always there. We serve all people without regard to age, race, religion, or ability to pay.

Catholic Charities serves Fairfield County with programs that feed the hungry and homebound, shelter the homeless, strengthen families, assist with physical and mental health, and deliver consultation and assistance to immigrants. A heartfelt thank you to Marlene Drygas for her generous support of the Morning Glory Breakfast Program!

Marlene recently stopped by with a donation check and delicious corn muffins to accompany a warm breakfast of hot oatmeal for our guests.

Her generosity helps us provide more than a meal. It helps create a welcoming start to the day and reminds each person who walks through our doors that they are seen, valued, and welcomed.

Thank you, Marlene, for helping make a warm breakfast possible for our Morning Glory guests!

Today, we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We hold in our hearts the survivors, the families, and the first responders who continue to carry the memory of that day.

At Catholic Charities of Fairfield County, we reflect on the strength, resilience, and unity that emerged from such tragedy. Guided by these values, we remain committed to building hope, healing, and compassion throughout our community.

We will never forget.

New Outlook clinician Sarah Lynch and SOAR Specialist Daniel Menachemson, who specializes in helping clients obtain disability income, recently received incredible news about their mutual client, Donna.

After a long journey filled with dedication, perseverance and advocacy, Donna was awarded disability income. For our team, moments like this are truly momentous. They represent not only a life-changing outcome for a client, but also what is possible when our programs and staff work together.

Sarah, Daniel and CSP Case Manager David Johnston each played an important role in supporting Donna along the way. Their collaboration is a powerful example of how Catholic Charities programs work together to meet the complex needs of the people we serve.

We are incredibly proud of Donna and grateful to Sarah, Daniel and David for their compassion, dedication and teamwork.

We’re so excited to see volunteers in our new food pantry at Catholic Charities Stamford, home of New Covenant Center!

This new space represents more than shelves stocked with food. It represents dignity, hope and a community coming together to make sure our neighbors have access to the nourishment they need.

Our volunteers are an essential part of making this possible. From organizing and stocking shelves to welcoming and assisting our neighbors, their time and compassion help bring our mission to life every day.

Thank you, St. Joseph’s Danbury!

We are incredibly grateful to St. Joseph’s Danbury for hosting a generous donation drive to support the Morning Glory Home Essentials Program!

The Morning Glory Home Essentials Program provides non-food necessities that are not covered by SNAP benefits, including cleaning supplies, paper goods, and personal hygiene products. Clients can schedule a pickup every other month, helping ensure they have access to the everyday essentials they need.

Thank you to everyone at St. Joseph’s Danbury who donated and helped fill our shelves. Your generosity is making a meaningful difference for individuals and families in our community!
