The Lighthouse Program provides students in Bridgeport with a safe and supportive environment after school and during the summer, offering educational, cultural, and recreational opportunities through a diversified approach to programming. The Lighthouse Program is an innovative school/community program designed to blend community and school visions in a unique approach to give Bridgeport's youth
an opportunity to learn, relax and interact with peers and significant adults in a safe and supervised school environment. The Program operates at 24 school sites: Barnum/Waltersville,, Beardsley, Blackham, Black Rock, Bryant, Cesar Batalla, Columbus, Curiale, Discovery Magnet, Dunbar, Edison, Hall, Hallen, Ho**er, JFK, Geraldine Claytor Magnet Academy, Geraldine Johnson, John Winthrop, Madison, Luis Munoz Marin, Park City Magnet, Read, Roosevelt, Tisdale,
